Bars Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Bars Manager to lead the bar operations at Swissotel Sharm El Sheikh. The role involves ensuring high service standards, coordinating staff across outlets, and achieving the revenue and cost targets set by the hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily workflow in all bar outlets and ensure compliance with hotel standards.
• Manage bar personnel, create schedules, and monitor attendance.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments to deliver seamless service.
• Conduct monthly inventory counts, control stock levels, and report results to the Food & Beverage Manager.
• Identify and resolve technical breakdowns in bar equipment.
• Prepare and supervise service for special occasions and events.
• Maintain bar equipment, ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance.
• Develop and deliver training programmes for bar staff.
• Analyse sales, cost, presentation quality, service standards and customer satisfaction.
• Implement energy‑saving and environmental initiatives within the department.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing bar operations in a hotel or resort environment.
• Strong leadership and team‑coordination abilities.
• Excellent organisational skills with a focus on quality and standards.
• Ability to analyse financial and operational data to drive performance.
• Commitment to environmental sustainability and energy‑saving practices.
