Budgeting & Reporting Manager

About the role

The Budgeting & Reporting Manager leads the Group’s budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes. This role provides accurate analysis and actionable insights to support strategic decisions, resource allocation, and overall business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute the Group budgeting cycle from planning through approval, aligning with corporate goals and timelines.
• Produce comprehensive financial analyses and management reports that highlight performance trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Partner with department heads and business unit leaders to gather data, challenge assumptions, and drive sound financial decisions.
• Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, scenario planning, and annual budgeting.
• Monitor budget compliance, track actual‑vs‑budget variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Define, track, and communicate key financial performance indicators (KPIs) across the Group.
• Support senior management in strategic planning by evaluating the financial feasibility of projects and investments.
• Deliver ad‑hoc analyses and reports to address emerging business needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; CPA, CMA, CFA or ACCA preferred.
• 5–7 years of progressive experience in budgeting, FP&A or similar finance functions, preferably in hospitality or multi‑entity environments.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and communication skills with the ability to translate financial data for non‑financial stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced setting.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, complex formulas).
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, Sun Systems or Opera PMS.
• Proficiency in business intelligence tools, e.g., Power BI.
• Solid understanding of IFRS and familiarity with USALI.
• Knowledge of AI‑powered tools for financial analysis and reporting automation.
