Business Developer – Facility Management Services

About the role

EFMS Co is seeking a Business Developer to expand its facility management portfolio across commercial, residential, industrial, healthcare, retail and hospitality sectors. The role focuses on identifying new opportunities, generating leads, and securing contracts for a range of hard and soft FM services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and analyse market trends, competitor offerings and emerging opportunities in the facility management sector.
• Generate qualified leads through outreach, referrals, tenders and networking with property owners, developers, asset managers and government entities.
• Prepare and submit competitive proposals in response to RFPs/RFQs, coordinating with operations, finance and technical teams.
• Build and maintain long‑term client relationships, conduct site visits and ensure smooth handover to operations.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets, lead negotiations and close contracts.
• Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities for additional FM services such as HVAC, cleaning, security and landscaping.
• Ensure proposals comply with regulatory, safety and industry standards (ISO, HSE, sustainability).
• Track KPIs, maintain CRM records and produce sales forecasts and reports for management.
• Represent EFMS Co at industry events and property forums to strengthen brand positioning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, B2B sales or a related field.
• Experience in the Facility Management Services industry is highly preferred.
• Proven stakeholder management and strong communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using CRM systems to manage pipelines and documentation.
