Business Development Manager – Africa

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to lead our growth across Africa. The role involves building and managing relationships with developers, distributors, consultants and key customers, while driving new business opportunities for Duravit’s sanitary ware and bathroom solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with developers, distributors, consultants and key customers across Africa.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve sales targets.
• Prepare quotations, pricing proposals and tender submissions.
• Monitor project progress and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely execution.
• Conduct market research and sales forecasting to support business growth.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and provide tailored customer solutions.
• Resolve customer issues and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Represent Duravit at customer meetings, industry events and business development activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in Business Development, Sales or Account Management.
• Strong negotiation, communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Fluency in English and French.
• Experience in sanitary ware, construction or building materials is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Africa.
