Business Development Manager – Digital Partnerships (FinTech)

About the role

The Business Development Manager – Digital Partnerships will drive the adoption of Mastercard Issuing Solutions across non‑financial institutions and merchants in Egypt. Reporting to the SVP, Cluster Lead and the Issuing Solutions Sales Manager, the role combines strategic market analysis with hands‑on partnership execution.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse the country landscape and regional strategy to identify growth opportunities for Mastercard solutions.
• Design and execute engagement plans, quarterly reviews and product deep‑dives with data‑driven recommendations.
• Develop market‑wide growth strategies and innovative sales frameworks using insights, white papers and analysis.
• Understand issuers’ value chain, payment flows, technology, card infrastructure and digital roadmaps.
• Prepare formal recommendations and presentations for senior leadership teams.
• Create and maintain a business plan with actionable items for the territory.
• Ensure compliance and transparency in legal and contracting processes per Mastercard policy.
• Travel internationally up to 60% of the time to support partnership initiatives.
