Business Development Officer

About the role

Our client, a growing FMCG organization, is seeking a Business Development Officer based in Cairo to drive export growth and strengthen business development activities across international markets, with a focus on Africa. You will support export initiatives, identify market opportunities, and coordinate with distributors to execute growth plans.

Key responsibilities

• Support export initiatives and activation projects targeting African markets.
• Identify and evaluate new market opportunities across the continent.
• Coordinate with local distributors and partners to ensure smooth market entry.
• Contribute to the development and execution of growth plans and market expansion strategies.
• Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in assigned markets.
• Travel frequently across Africa to support business development activities.

Required profile

• 1 to 2 years of current FMCG export experience.
• Current employment in FMCG exports.
• Experience supporting African markets.
• Willingness to travel frequently across Africa.
• Export activation experience.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Legal right to work in Egypt without visa sponsorship.
