Business Intelligence Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Developer to design, build and maintain data solutions that empower business users with reliable reporting and analytics. The role involves translating business needs into technical specifications and delivering interactive dashboards using SQL Server and Power BI.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain ETL processes, stored procedures and database objects supporting reporting and analytics.
• Build and optimise scalable data solutions ensuring data integrity, performance and reliability.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for data‑warehouse design and reporting automation.
• Create interactive dashboards and reports with Power BI, leveraging DAX for advanced calculations.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise data workflows and reporting cycles to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross‑functional teams to deliver actionable insights.
• Respond to data‑related requests within agreed service‑level agreements.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives through data analysis and performance tuning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in BI development, database analysis or reporting.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Microsoft SQL Server (2016 or newer) – query optimisation, indexing, stored procedures.
• Power BI, including DAX.
• Data‑modeling concepts such as star/snowflake schemas and OLAP.
• Python for data manipulation and automation.
• Experience with SSIS or cloud‑based data environments (Azure) – preferred.
