Butler Supervisor

About the role

The Butler Supervisor leads the Butler team at Swissotel Sharm El Sheikh, ensuring a seamless, luxurious experience for guests. This position coordinates daily operations, manages staff performance, and acts as the primary liaison between the Butler department and other hotel areas.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule non‑supervisory Butler staff, ensuring clear communication of tasks.
• Record, distribute, and act on reports and guest preferences using the Opera system.
• Maintain administrative data, key control, and pre‑arrival preparation logs.
• Oversee handover between shifts and ensure the work area remains clean and functional.
• Handle guest complaints promptly, escalating to the Head Butler when necessary.
• Track guest supply consumption and manage special occasions or celebrations.
• Update repeat‑guest profiles and provide personalized service for long‑stay or VIP guests.
• Identify training needs, schedule sessions, and provide performance feedback.
