Cafeteria Attendant

About the role

The Cafeteria Attendant will ensure the smooth operation of the dishwashing and kitchen support areas at Rixos Premium Seagate. You will work closely with all shifts to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, pull, and stack cleaned items; send soiled items for re‑scrubbing and re‑washing.
• Monitor water temperature and chemical levels for the dishwasher and complete required documentation.
• Store clean wares in designated areas and clean the dishwashing machine, including trash removal, spray‑arm cleaning, and troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Coordinate duties with employees on all shifts and ensure seamless daily operations.
• Monitor buffet preparation equipment and hand it over to the buffet attendant in full working order.
• Assist senior staff, assume departmental responsibility in their absence, and control employee entry/exit and break times.
• Manage dishwasher cycles, handle junior requests, and oversee garbage collection and area maintenance.
• Participate in Emergency Response Teams and implement energy‑saving and waste‑reduction initiatives.
• Execute quality‑management and food‑safety procedures and perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Primary school diploma at minimum.
• At least 3 years of related work experience (or 1 year in a lower position with relevant training).
• Prior attendance in relevant trainings and basic computer literacy.
