Cards & Digital Banking Processing & Maintenance Officer

About the role

The position supports the Consumer Operations Department by managing the issuance, maintenance and administration of covered and prepaid cards, as well as related digital banking services. It ensures accurate processing of card requests, compliance with KYC standards and timely communication with branches and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Review documents and process covered and prepaid card issuance requests.
• Post card data to the Abu Dhabi “Prime” system.
• Update customer information, change limits, issue supplementary or replacement cards, and deactivate or block cards as required.
• Coordinate with branches and sales teams to obtain missing documentation.
• Perform manual entries and adjustments at the card level.
• Reconcile delivered versus returned/undelivered cards before forwarding to the Call Center.
• Maintain customer address files and submit card statement files for printing.
• Execute Internet Banking maintenance requests following approved instructions.
• Complete KYC forms for new prepaid card issuance in digital applications.
• Report suspicious transactions to the Fraud Risk Management team.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to cards and collaborate with Compliance & Governance on consumer rights issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 0‑5 years of relevant experience, depending on the level (Apprentice, Junior Officer, Officer).
• Preferred internship or university activity experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Word.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
