Cards & Digital Banking Processing & Maintenance Team Leader / Manager

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned leader to head the Cards & Digital Banking Processing & Maintenance team within our Centralized Operations Department. The role oversees the end‑to‑end lifecycle of covered and prepaid cards, internet banking services, and electronic wallets, ensuring compliance with Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) regulations and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Approve issuance and maintenance of covered and prepaid cards, ensuring KYC completeness and adherence to CBE, AML and compliance standards.
• Supervise daily processing of card maintenance requests (limit changes, deactivation, blocking, cancellation) and electronic‑wallet transactions.
• Coordinate with ADIB Egypt, Abu Dhabi systems, vendors and internal functions to guarantee timely delivery of card products domestically and internationally.
• Monitor vendor performance, prepare service‑quality reports and manage card‑related inventory (plastic, letters, envelopes).
• Oversee budgetary control of card expenses, shredding of returned cards, fraud reporting and regulatory compliance monitoring.
• Lead a small team, provide training, conduct performance evaluations and ensure SLA‑driven complaint handling.
• Prepare analytical reports, support UAT testing and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in card operations, digital banking or related banking functions.
• Strong knowledge of bank processes, CBE regulations and anti‑money‑laundering requirements.
• Excellent analytical abilities and proven team‑leadership experience.

Required skills

• In‑depth understanding of card issuance, maintenance workflows and electronic‑wallet management.
• Proficiency in regulatory compliance monitoring and reporting.
