Carpet Designer

About the role

We are looking for a creative Carpet Designer to develop original carpet patterns, colors and layouts that meet market trends and client needs. The role bridges concept development and technical production, ensuring designs are ready for textile manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Create, develop, and refine original carpet designs, patterns, and color combinations based on market trends and client requirements.
• Translate conceptual ideas into technical design layouts suitable for textile production.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure design feasibility, color accuracy, and material compatibility.
• Stay updated on international textile trends, color palettes, and carpet manufacturing technologies.
• Modify and adapt existing designs to fit different sizes, shapes, and production specifications.

Required profile

• B.S. in Applied Arts (Textile/Printing/Design) or Fine Arts.
• Preferably resident of 10th of Ramadan City or nearby areas in Sharkia.
• Strong artistic sense, eye for detail, and excellent understanding of color theory and textile structures.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
• Experience with NedGraphics or other specialized carpet design software.
