Cashier – Full‑time Retail Position

About the role

The Cashier will work on‑site in a busy retail environment, handling customer transactions and ensuring a smooth checkout experience. This full‑time position requires a friendly, professional attitude and strict attention to cash handling procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system and card terminals to process payments accurately.
• Manage cash, credit, and other payment forms, reconciling the cash drawer at the start and end of each shift.
• Answer customer inquiries, resolve basic checkout issues, and maintain a courteous service level.
• Collaborate with team members to keep the checkout area clean, organized, and stocked.
• Support inventory checks and merchandising tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Strong numeracy and attention to detail for accurate cash handling and transaction reconciliation.
• Excellent customer‑service skills with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Reliability, punctuality, and respect for confidentiality and company policies.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or a similar cashier role is an advantage.
