Cashier – Hotel

About the role

The hotel is seeking a reliable Cashier to manage daily cash operations, ensure accurate financial records, and provide excellent service to guests. This full‑time position is based at the Al Pasha Coast property in Sharm El Sheikh.

Key responsibilities

• Verify figures, postings, and documents for accuracy and proper coding.
• Organise, collect, secure and maintain all cash and cash equivalents according to policies.
• Audit house banks periodically and reconcile petty cash and cashier banks.
• Collect cash, prepare bank‑deposit paperwork and process deposits on schedule.
• Prepare tickets for cash banquet functions and operate hotel token machines.
• Provide cash to guests, conduct currency exchanges and document cash variances.
• Act as liaison with the armored‑car service or primary banking institution.
• Participate in internal and regulatory audits, ensuring compliance with SOPs.
• Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality and clear communication with guests and team members.
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of cash‑handling or related experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to lift, carry or move objects up to 15 lb without assistance.
• Professional demeanor, strong attention to detail and ability to follow policies.
