Catering Sales Manager

About the role

Four Seasons Alexandria is looking for a Catering Sales Manager to secure and service catering business from the social and corporate market. The role involves active promotion, solicitation and prospecting while maintaining Four Seasons standards and maximising revenue and profit potential.

Key responsibilities

• Solicit new business, follow up inquiries and personal sales calls, and achieve quarterly sales goals
• Conduct property tours and entertain planners of meetings, social events and weddings
• Take part in meetings such as morning operations briefings, banquets event order meetings, sales meetings, menu tastings and planning visits
• Coordinate sales efforts between the sales department and catering to make full use of function space
• Finalise confirmed bookings, upsell and prepare monthly booking reports and banquet checks
• Keep the Director of Catering informed of issues and supervise the execution of banquet events
• Respond to emergencies and safety situations according to the crisis management plan

Required profile

• Excellent reading, writing and oral English
• College education preferred
• 3-5 years of previous catering sales and/or banquet assistant manager/captain experience
