About the role
The CCR Operator supports the shift lead in maintaining kiln and plant stability, quality, and productivity at Lafarge's cement plant in Ain Al‑Sokhna. The role focuses on optimizing the fuel mix, controlling fuel costs, and ensuring continuous, safe operation of the production line.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate daily production to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
- Maintain and improve equipment availability through regular up‑keeps.
- Set and adjust parameters across the kiln and related processes to ensure smooth operation.
- Review operational data and production reports to optimise equipment utilisation and quality standards.
- Collaborate with inter‑departmental teams to resolve issues affecting kiln productivity.
- Analyse daily trends, investigate incidents, and support plan‑schedule discussions.
- Develop and update operator procedures and control loops for kiln operations.
- Assist the shift lead with fuel‑mix optimisation and fuel‑plan decisions to control costs.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental policies to achieve zero‑incident targets.
Required profile
- Experience in cement or heavy‑industry plant operations, preferably with kiln exposure.
- Ability to work as second‑in‑command, supporting shift leadership.
- Strong analytical mindset for reviewing operational parameters and trends.
- Commitment to safety, environmental standards, and continuous improvement.
