Charging Tech Specialist

About the role

Vodafone is looking for a Charging Tech Specialist to analyse business requirements and design charging solutions for both prepaid and post‑paid services. You will work within an Agile team to develop, test and maintain high‑quality charging platforms while supporting live customer issues.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and translate business requirements into charging product designs.
• Design, develop and implement charging services using best‑practice coding and testing techniques.
• Write automated test scripts with tools such as Selenium, UiPath and JMeter.
• Own end‑to‑end code delivery on charging platforms, including version control and DevOps practices.
• Provide third‑line support for live customer incidents that require fixes or enhancements.
• Collaborate with technical, business, finance and customer‑care stakeholders to agree on requirements and designs.
• Plan and execute charging system upgrades, expansions and integrations with other network/IT platforms.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed business requirement analysis.
• Excellent communication, time‑management and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle complex technical issues.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Selenium, UiPath and JMeter for test automation.
• Experience in Node.js and JavaScript development.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with version control systems and DevOps practices.
