Chef de Partie Gard Manger

About the role

A hotel belonging to the Accor network, which includes more than 45 brands, 5,500 hotels and 10,000 restaurants, is looking for a Chef de Partie Gard Manger in Luxor. You will play a key role in the kitchen, working alongside a great team to prepare, cook and serve food that delights guests.

Key responsibilities

• Share ideas, opinions and suggestions to improve the environment and the menus
• Ensure consistency in the preparation of all food items for a la carte and/or buffet menus, according to property recipes and standards
• Communicate effectively with the rest of the team and respond positively to guest feedback

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or a similar culinary role
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
• Nice to have: Nile or river cruise ship experience, culinary diploma or professional certification in hospitality, and experience in international or multi-cultural kitchens

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of cold food preparation and garde manger techniques
• Excellent knife skills and food presentation abilities
