About the role
Hyundai Rotem is seeking a Chemical Engineer to support manufacturing and automotive painting operations in Port Said. The role focuses on designing equipment layouts, improving production efficiency, and ensuring safe handling of hazardous materials.
Key responsibilities
- Design and build manufacturing equipment layouts.
- Conduct tests to accelerate production processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in plant facilities.
- Perform sand‑blasting and prepare car bodies for painting and top‑coat application.
- Establish safety protocols for handling dangerous materials.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related physical science.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience; recent graduates are welcome.
- Resident of Port Said is mandatory.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent command of English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Background in automotive painting is preferred.
