Chief Engineer

About the role

Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza is looking for an experienced Chief Engineer to lead its engineering department. You will oversee all engineering operations so that the hotel's systems and facilities run smoothly, safely and efficiently, leading a dedicated team, managing preventive maintenance and supporting sustainability initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage preventive maintenance schedules and conduct performance reviews
• Prepare annual and five-year budgets
• Maintain fire life safety equipment and ensure the team is trained in emergency procedures and CPR
• Hire, train, supervise and motivate team members, applying the 10/5 Rule
• Oversee engineering projects from inception to completion, on time, within budget and to high quality standards
• Build reliable relationships with contractors

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities
• Proven leadership and interpersonal skills
• Strong communication skills
