Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Finance Executive

About the role

EVA Pharma is seeking a strategic Chief Financial Officer to lead its finance function across Egypt and international markets. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will act as a trusted partner to the executive team, driving financial stewardship, commercial insight, and sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to shape pricing, margin, and investment strategies.
• Provide financial insights for portfolio decisions, product launches, and market expansion.
• Lead costing, profitability analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management cycles.
• Deliver executive‑level reporting and decision support to the Board.
• Embed costing discipline across supply‑chain operations and optimize working capital.
• Ensure integrity of accounting, IFRS compliance, and internal control frameworks.
• Oversee audits, governance standards, and enterprise risk management.
• Build and empower a high‑performing, globally capable finance team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; MBA or professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA) strongly preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive finance leadership experience, including senior executive roles.
• Deep expertise in pharmaceuticals, healthcare or FMCG, with multi‑country finance management experience, especially in emerging markets.

Required skills

• Strong command of IFRS and local regulatory requirements.
• Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analytics.
• Proficiency in audit coordination, internal controls, and risk management.
