Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Finance Leader

About the role

EVA Pharma is seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to lead its finance function across Egypt and international markets. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will act as a strategic partner to the executive team, driving financial stewardship, commercial insight, and sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with executive leadership to shape pricing, margin, and investment strategies.
• Provide financial insights for portfolio decisions, product launches, and market expansion.
• Lead costing, profitability analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management cycles.
• Deliver executive‑level reporting and decision support to the Board and senior leadership.
• Ensure integrity of accounting, IFRS compliance, and robust internal controls across all geographies.
• Oversee audits, governance standards, and enterprise risk management.
• Optimize inventory, receivables, and working capital to strengthen cash conversion.
• Build and empower a high‑performing, globally capable finance team.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of progressive finance leadership experience, including senior or executive roles.
• Proven track record in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or FMCG environments.
• Experience managing multi‑country finance operations, especially in emerging markets.
• Strong command of IFRS, financial controls, and governance standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; MBA or professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA) preferred.
