Chief Technical Office Engineer – Mechanical

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Chief Technical Office Engineer – Mechanical to lead our mechanical technical office activities on water‑related construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all Mechanical Technical Office activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and approve shop drawings, technical submittals, and material approvals.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, procurement, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress and provide technical support to site teams.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
• Mentor and guide Technical Office Engineers while ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• More than 8 years of experience in construction projects.
• Proven experience in water projects such as Water Treatment Plants, infrastructure utilities, pumping stations, and water transmission and distribution networks.
• Strong background in technical office activities including shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, quantity take‑offs, value engineering, and coordination with site and design teams.
• Excellent knowledge of international codes, specifications, and project documentation.
• Strong leadership, planning, and coordination abilities.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
