Chinese-speaking Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Procurement Specialist fluent in Mandarin and English to source and manage suppliers primarily from China. You will play a key role in ensuring quality, cost‑effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods while building strong supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Source and evaluate Chinese suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery performance.
• Communicate with suppliers in Mandarin and English to request quotations, compare prices, and negotiate terms.
• Issue purchase orders, monitor progress, and ensure on‑time delivery.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and coordinate with logistics, shipping, and customs teams.
• Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delays, or documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels and align purchasing activities accordingly.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and supplier databases.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
• Prepare procurement reports and analyze purchasing data for decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Trade, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of procurement or sourcing experience, preferably with Chinese suppliers.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English (spoken and written).
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of international shipping, Incoterms, and import/export documentation.
