Client Delivery Manager – Enterprise Software

About the role

The Client Delivery Manager is the single point of accountability for delivering a major enterprise software platform to a large utility client. This governance‑focused role partners with the CTO, Product Manager and Business Development Director to ensure contractual milestones are met and the client relationship is maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the client’s primary contact for all delivery matters, run weekly status meetings and issue written status reports.
• Maintain and actively manage the client stakeholder map, including engineers, IT, procurement and executive sponsors.
• Own the master schedule, drive it against contractual milestones and keep a RAID log updated.
• Coordinate FAT, SAT, UAT, training and go‑live readiness with the Technical Delivery Lead.
• Chair bi‑weekly steering committee meetings with executive sponsors.
• Drive milestone acceptance sign‑offs that trigger invoicing and enforce documented change requests.
• Flag margin risk, schedule slippage or dependency failures to the Delivery Director early.
• Translate client requirements into actionable work for the engineering team and protect the product roadmap.
• Guide the Project Coordinator on documentation, trackers and invoicing packs.
• Transition the account to support and SLA governance after go‑live and identify follow‑on opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or a related field.
• 7+ years of delivery or project management experience for enterprise software in large organisations.
• Proven experience delivering to Egyptian utility, government or state‑owned clients, understanding procurement and approval processes.
• Track record of owning contractual milestones through to client acceptance and payment.
• Strong technical literacy to read architecture diagrams and assess engineering estimates.
