Client Delivery Manager

About the role

The Client Delivery Manager is accountable for delivering a major enterprise software platform to a large utility client. The role manages the day‑to‑day client relationship, drives contractual milestones to formal acceptance and safeguards the delivery schedule and commercial terms. It is a governance and relationship role, working closely with the CTO, Product Manager and Business Development Director.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary client contact, run weekly status meetings and issue written reports.
• Own the master schedule, maintain the RAID log and coordinate FAT, SAT, UAT, training and go‑live readiness.
• Chair bi‑weekly steering committees and manage escalation paths to protect the delivery timeline.
• Drive milestone acceptance sign‑offs, enforce change control and flag margin or schedule risks.
• Translate client requirements into actionable work for engineering, protect the product roadmap and shield the team from unmanaged interruptions.
• Transition the account to support after go‑live and identify follow‑on opportunities for Business Development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related field.
• 7+ years of delivery or project management experience with enterprise software for large organisations.
• Proven experience delivering to Egyptian utility, government or state‑owned clients, understanding procurement and approval processes.
• Strong technical literacy and ability to read architecture diagrams and assess estimates.
• Fluent in Arabic and English; French or German a plus.
• Desirable: exposure to SCADA, EMS, ADMS or OT environments and familiarity with utility control‑centre operations.
• Project‑management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are advantageous.
