Cloud Data & Analytics Engineer

About the role

C3S Software is looking for a Cloud Data & Analytics Engineer to join a senior delivery team building a live Amazon e‑commerce analytics platform for a CPG retail‑media client. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining AWS‑native data pipelines and analytics layers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain API integration clients for Amazon SP‑API and Ads API, handling OAuth flows, token rotation, rate‑limit management and idempotent ingestion.
• Build AWS Lambda functions for data ingestion, transformation and event‑driven processing; configure EventBridge schedules and SQS dead‑letter queues.
• Design S3 bucket structures (raw and silver layers), Glue Data Catalog schemas and Athena views for ASIN‑level analytics.
• Manage secrets with AWS Secrets Manager and KMS, automate token rotation, and support QuickSight dataset registration and SPICE refresh.
• Participate in cross‑account IAM setup, ensuring least‑privilege access for delivery.
• Write comprehensive tests for API edge cases, throttling, deduplication and schema drift.
• Collaborate in an Agile team: sprint planning, stand‑ups, code reviews and client‑facing technical walkthroughs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of hands‑on experience building solutions on AWS (Lambda, S3, Athena, Glue, IAM, Secrets Manager).
• Proven experience with REST API integrations and OAuth 2.0 token lifecycle management.
• Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
