Cloud Engineer – OCI (Level 2)

About the role

The Cloud Engineer – OCI (L2) provides advanced technical support for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environments. You will act as the escalation point for complex issues, working closely with customers, internal engineering teams, and Oracle support to ensure rapid resolution and high service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Handle escalated technical issues from Level 1 engineers.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of OCI services, networking, security, and platform components.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge‑base articles.
• Mentor Level 1 engineers and lead knowledge‑transfer sessions.
• Identify recurring issue patterns and propose systematic solutions.
• Collaborate with OCI service teams on complex customer cases.
• Participate in customer Well‑Architected Reviews.

Required profile

• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certified Architect Professional (required) plus one additional OCI certification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with OCI services in an MSP or vendor support role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical abilities and customer‑service orientation.
