Commercial Director

About the role

The Commercial Director will lead City Edge Developments' commercial function, shaping and executing the overall supply chain strategy to maximise efficiency and support the company’s growth objectives. Reporting to senior management, this role combines strategic vision with hands‑on oversight of procurement, tendering and contracting across the real‑estate portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan and monitor the end‑to‑end supply chain strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
• Lead negotiation and execution of large‑scale contracts with contractors, equipment suppliers and service providers.
• Develop and maintain supplier management processes, guaranteeing compliance with quality standards.
• Create tendering and contracting strategies, identifying value‑engineering opportunities to optimise expenditure.
• Establish standard contract templates, including NDAs, design and supervision consultant agreements.
• Monitor key performance indicators, conduct market research and produce regular reports for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with senior management to translate City Edge’s vision into commercial actions.

Required profile

• Minimum 20 years of relevant experience, with at least 5‑8 years in a senior commercial or supply‑chain leadership role.
• Proven track record of negotiating high‑value contracts and managing complex supplier relationships.
• Strong understanding of real‑estate development commercial processes.
