Commercial Executive - Export Sales

About the role

Egast is hiring a Commercial Executive for export sales in Alexandria, Egypt. The role combines commercial and account management with close coordination between the commercial team and packhouse operations, and reporting on market intelligence and client performance.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new export opportunities through market research, cold outreach, trade show networking and digital channels.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with global retail networks, wholesalers and purchasing partners.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, payment terms, minimum pack specs and packaging label requirements.
• Meet and exceed monthly, seasonal and annual volume and revenue targets.
• Act as the main link between the commercial team and packhouse operations, coordinating seasonal shipments, loading schedules and container dispatches to match client ETAs.
• Align on crop specifications, sizing, weight and private-label packaging with packhouse quality control before loading.
• Analyse competitive pricing, seasonal windows and supply/demand trends; track orders, manage account ledgers and monitor client metrics.
• Handle initial client feedback, quality claims and documentation updates promptly.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Supply Chain, International Trade or similar.
• 2 to 4 years of experience as a Sales Executive in agribusiness, fresh and frozen produce export.
• Business-level English (written and spoken); additional languages such as Russian, German, French or Polish are a strong plus.

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with advanced Excel for data and order tracking.
