Commercial Finance Manager

About the role

The Commercial Finance Manager will join a high‑performing commercial finance team supporting a fast‑growing international consumer goods business. You will work at the intersection of finance, strategy and commercial decision‑making, helping shape investment decisions and long‑term plans across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning processes across several markets and business units.
• Build detailed financial models to assess growth opportunities, investment decisions and commercial initiatives.
• Deliver insightful analysis of business performance, identifying risks and opportunities to drive profitability.
• Support strategic planning through scenario modelling, business case development and investment appraisal.
• Partner with commercial teams to evaluate customer, channel and market performance.
• Provide financial support for new business opportunities, expansion projects and growth initiatives.
• Develop and enhance reporting processes, dashboards and performance metrics.
• Work closely with senior stakeholders to influence decisions using data‑driven insights.
• Assist in delivering annual plans, quarterly forecasts and long‑term growth strategies.
• Drive continuous improvement across financial processes, reporting and analytical capabilities.

Required profile

• Experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A, Financial Planning, Business Partnering or Strategic Finance.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities.
• Proven experience supporting budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning.
• Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable commercial insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management and partnership with non‑finance teams.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and familiarity with financial reporting tools.
• Proactive, curious and solutions‑oriented mindset.
• Experience in FMCG, consumer goods, retail or a similarly fast‑paced commercial environment is advantageous.
• Relevant professional finance qualification.
