Commercial Lead Africa & Middle East Markets

About the role

We are looking for a Commercial Lead to drive Corteva’s commercial business across Africa (excluding South Africa) and the Middle East. The role carries full income‑statement accountability and combines strategic direction, commercial execution, and team leadership to grow market share and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a 5‑year strategic plan aligned with regional growth objectives.
• Lead the commercial organization to deliver annual budgets, maximize market share and profitability.
• Manage business governance, annual planning cycles, commercial policies and key performance indicators for the assigned geographies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, industry partners and other stakeholders to support agricultural development.
• Oversee financial performance, sales forecasting, working‑capital management and ensure compliance with corporate financial policies and local regulations.
• Coach, mentor and develop a high‑performance team in line with Corteva’s values.

Required profile

• University diploma or advanced degree, preferably with experience in agribusiness.
• 5–10 years of sales leadership experience with a proven record of delivering business results.
• Strong customer and industry relationships, sound financial acumen and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated ability to set strategic direction, manage an income statement and drive a collaborative team culture.
