Community Pharmacist – Full‑time, New Cairo

About the role

Ivy Pharmacy is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Pharmacist to join its community‑focused team in New Cairo. You will ensure safe, accurate dispensing of prescriptions while providing personalized medication counseling and wellness advice to a diverse customer base.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and review prescriptions for safety and appropriateness.
• Provide clear counseling on medication use, side effects, and drug interactions.
• Manage pharmacy inventory, monitor stock levels, expiry dates, and storage conditions.
• Collaborate with staff to maintain efficient workflows and uphold regulatory and safety standards.
• Process prescriptions, documentation, and insurance‑related tasks.
• Guide customers on over‑the‑counter products, wellness solutions, and basic health and beauty needs.

Required profile

• Licensed pharmacist with a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (or higher) from an accredited institution and eligibility to practice in Egypt.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, dosage calculations, and safe dispensing practices.
• Experience in retail or community pharmacy settings is preferred.
• Excellent communication and active listening skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
