Compliance Manager

About the role

The Compliance Manager will lead the design, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of the company’s compliance framework. You will work closely with executive management, internal audit, risk, and governance teams to ensure adherence to policies, laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive compliance plan and follow‑up procedures, reporting deviations to the compliance and audit committees.
• Coordinate with internal audit, risk management, and governance departments to implement recommendations and action plans within agreed timelines.
• Support the issues‑management program, including risk acceptance and remediation plan governance.
• Identify bottlenecks in existing processes and propose improvements using process re‑engineering techniques.
• Assess control effectiveness across the organization and conduct proactive compliance testing.
• Create and maintain information security policies, governance standards, and document‑management procedures.
• Build cross‑functional relationships to promote compliance awareness and ensure departmental alignment.
• Manage regulator interactions, ensuring all requirements are met and documented.
• Develop and deliver GRC training and awareness materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, law, finance, business, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in audit, risk management, or compliance.
• Professional certification in compliance (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional).
