Construction Contracts Manager

About the role

The Construction Contracts Manager will oversee contract administration for all ongoing projects, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and effective communication with clients, contractors, and partners. This senior position requires a strategic approach to claim resolution and strong legal and commercial expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and monitor compliance of all project contracts.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, contractors, and partners, handling disputes amicably.
• Prepare statements of claims and defenses, and develop contract synopses for project teams.
• Develop and maintain contract administration systems, reporting processes, and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Supervise all contracts and claims administration activities in line with company policies.
• Review contract drafts and project agreements to protect company interests.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (13‑15 years of relevant experience).
• Strong commercial knowledge; MBA considered an advantage.
• Familiarity with Egyptian Civil Code, Administrative Law 182/2018, and English & Welsh law principles.
• Professional certifications such as CLAC, PMP or equivalent.
• Fluent in English and French (written and spoken).
