Construction Engineer - Electrical

About the role

The Construction Engineer – Electrical will ensure that all electrical construction activities follow company policies, safety standards and project guidelines. Working on‑site, you will coordinate daily work, manage permits and oversee material handling to support successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and follow method‑statement checklists required during construction.
• Execute project‑specific procedures and manage daily site activities within the electrical discipline.
• Review material requests, handle material returns and issue permits to work.
• Issue Inspection Reports (IR) after completion of electrical work.
• Request, allocate and return equipment needed for execution.
• Produce regular progress reports for the direct manager.
• Ensure work is finished on schedule and meets customer satisfaction targets.
• Document lessons learned, case studies and maintain the discipline library.
• Participate in construction meetings and monitor schedule and budget adherence.
• Promote a safety and quality culture, monitor on‑site safety compliance and maintain site documentation such as daily field reports, field orders and RFIs.

Required profile

• Recognized degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in electrical construction or a related field.
