Construction Project Manager – Factories & Malls

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of factory and shopping mall projects for Etoile in Obour City, Cairo. The role involves overseeing all phases from design through commissioning while ensuring safety, quality, and budget compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project execution plans and timelines.
• Establish and monitor critical project milestones.
• Optimize the distribution of labor, equipment, and materials.
• Manage and control the overall project budget.
• Monitor expenditures closely to prevent cost overruns.
• Review and verify payment applications from contractors and vendors.
• Evaluate, negotiate, and select qualified subcontractors.
• Supervise procurement and supply chain processes.
• Oversee daily site operations with the Site Superintendent.
• Prepare regular progress reports for senior management and clients.
• Review, negotiate, and approve project change orders.
• Resolve technical issues and disputes arising on site.
• Implement proactive strategies to handle project risks and delays.
• Ensure all construction works comply with local building codes.
• Maintain high engineering and quality standards across all phases.
• Enforce strict Health, Safety, and Environment protocols.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or course completion.
• 7 to 10 years of professional experience in construction and project management.
• Proven track record in constructing and managing projects for factories and shopping malls.
• Previous experience in the Food & Beverage manufacturing sector is highly preferred.
