Contracts Section Head

About the role

The Contracts Section Head leads the contract lifecycle for engineering and construction projects, ensuring all legal, technical and procedural requirements are met. This senior position oversees a team of contract specialists and works closely with legal, procurement and project departments.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, issue and manage contracts and appendices for relevant parties.
• Review meeting minutes and contract‑related documents issued by the company.
• Ensure all legal requirements, signatures and stamps are obtained for contract validity.
• Coordinate with internal departments to gather required approvals and documentation.
• Monitor contracts throughout their lifecycle, guaranteeing compliance with terms, conditions and regulations.
• Evaluate and process contract amendment requests, extensions and special cases in collaboration with the Legal Department.
• Supervise the contract team, ensuring timely and efficient execution of tasks.
• Prepare periodic reports on contract activities and recommend process improvements.
• Train, mentor and assess team members to raise professional standards.
• Contribute to the development of contract policies, procedures and templates.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with a focus on contract management or procurement.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in technical contract management or tendering, preferably within engineering or construction.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, negotiation tactics and risk mitigation strategies.
• Solid understanding of engineering project specifications and industry standards.
