Contracts Senior Engineer

About the role

The Contracts Senior Engineer will lead contract administration for transmission and distribution projects, ensuring all contractual obligations are met and risks are managed effectively. Reporting to the Contracts Team Leader, you will act as the primary liaison between the project team, clients, partners, and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Review and prepare tender risk analyses and subcontract terms.
• Provide contractual advice to project management for decision‑making.
• Coordinate and respond to contractual correspondence with subcontractors, clients, and partners.
• Manage claims, variations, and close‑out procedures, including preparation of claim logs and issuance of TOAC/FAC.
• Oversee early‑start activities such as LG issuance, insurance policies, and other deliverables.
• Maintain and update contract administration logs, financial status reports, and VO/claims tracking.
• Report monthly on contractual status, payments, billing, and conflict resolution.
• Identify claim events, prepare statements/notices, and ensure proper record‑keeping.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 5–7 years of experience in contract management, claims handling, or commercial contracting, preferably in EPC, construction, energy, or T&D projects.
• Proven ability to lead contractual interfaces with clients and subcontractors.
• Experience with contract close‑out, variations, and claim administration.
