Control & Performance Business Consultant (German Speaker) – Senior Manager

About the role

PwC is seeking a senior‑level Control & Performance Business Consultant who will act as the primary liaison for CFOs and Heads of Controlling. Based in Cairo (ETIC) and working within the PwC Germany team located in Lisbon, the consultant will support German‑based and multinational clients on finance transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead finance projects for a diverse portfolio of German and international clients.
• Translate strategic objectives into financial concepts and governance structures.
• Design and optimise planning, controlling and reporting processes to boost efficiency and automation.
• Develop holistic steering models and KPI dashboards for finance and management teams.
• Strengthen finance’s role as a business partner and improve organisational structures.
• Collaborate closely with CFOs and Controlling Heads to ensure alignment and effective communication.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
• Professional experience in controlling, group management or finance transformation.
• Strong interest in digitalisation and automation within finance.
• Excellent communication skills in English; German is an advantage.
• Ability to work in interdisciplinary, hybrid teams and travel as needed.
