Cook I – Hotel Kitchen

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Cook I to join our hotel kitchen team in Cairo. You will work closely with the Chef to prepare high‑quality meals, maintain food safety standards, and support the Food & Beverage service during busy periods.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare special meals, cold dishes and standard menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills and roasters; pull and thaw frozen items safely.
• Maintain food logs, monitor portion sizes, garnish plates and ensure consistent quality.
• Communicate with the Chef and service staff about specials, excess inventory and out‑of‑stock items.
• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling and coaching of kitchen staff as needed.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies; report maintenance issues and incidents.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree in culinary arts or related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant kitchen experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift up to 25 lb for extended periods.
