Corporate Governance & Compliance Expert

About the role

NXT Solutions is looking for an experienced Corporate Governance & Compliance Expert to join its consulting network. The professional will support advisory, training, and capacity‑building projects that help organisations strengthen governance structures, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage risk.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expertise on corporate governance frameworks, policies, and best practices.
• Support the design and delivery of governance and compliance advisory projects.
• Develop and review governance‑related policies, procedures, and reporting frameworks.
• Contribute to training programs, workshops, and executive learning initiatives.
• Advise on regulatory compliance requirements and risk‑mitigation practices.
• Assist organisations in enhancing board effectiveness, accountability, and oversight mechanisms.
• Prepare professional reports, assessments, and recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience in corporate governance, compliance, risk management, internal audit, or related areas.
• Professional certifications are a plus (e.g., TOT, CGEIT, GRCP, CRCM, CIA, ICA).
• Strong knowledge of governance principles, regulatory frameworks, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Experience in banking, financial services, or the corporate sector is highly desirable.
