Cost Control Manager

About the role

The Cost Control Manager leads the internal cost control team on site, delivering monthly cost control packages and ensuring timely updates. The role focuses on identifying budget deviations, proposing corrective actions, and supporting the overall financial health of construction projects in Egypt or internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, maintain and review cost control systems and ensure data consistency across departments.
• Prepare and update project budgets, cash‑flow forecasts and cost plans.
• Monitor cost and revenue trends, issue early deviation alerts and propose corrective measures.
• Analyse variations, claims and productivity reports to identify improvement areas.
• Coordinate with project managers, tender department and business unit directors on cost‑related issues.
• Lead, coach and evaluate internal cost control staff, recommending training as needed.
• Prepare executive reports on manpower performance and project cost performance for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, risk assessments and environmental regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (mandatory); Master’s or MBA preferred.
• Minimum 14 years of experience in cost control or related fields within construction projects.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Project Management certification is a plus.
