Cost Manager

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Cost Manager to join its Real Estate team in Cairo. You will work on a variety of high‑value projects, providing cost management expertise from the pre‑contract stage through to construction completion.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Commission Manager by taking ownership of allocated cost‑management tasks.
• Deliver cost‑management services that meet client objectives, from feasibility studies to final handover.
• Prepare and review Bills of Quantities, measurement and pricing for building and MEP works.
• Manage post‑contract activities including interim applications, change orders and variation valuations.
• Work with contractors and project teams to ensure accurate cost reporting and control.

Required profile

• Strong background in the Real Estate/Property sector within a professional cost consultancy.
• Proven experience in pre‑contract services (feasibility, tendering, measurement, pricing).
• Experience with post‑contract cost control, change management and variation valuation.
• Familiarity with standard form contracts, preferably FIDIC, and contract procedures.
• Professional demeanor and confidence when interacting with contractors and clients.
