Credit Control Accountant

About the role

MTS Globe Egypt is seeking a Credit Control Accountant to manage credit risk and cash flow for its travel and hospitality clients. You will work closely with travel agencies, tour operators and corporate customers to ensure timely payments and accurate invoicing.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and approve credit applications for travel agencies, tour operators and corporate clients.
• Review and adjust credit limits based on ongoing risk analysis.
• Conduct credit checks and financial assessments for new and existing customers.
• Monitor outstanding accounts, follow up on overdue payments and reconcile client accounts.
• Investigate discrepancies, ensure invoice accuracy and generate aging reports for management.
• Provide credit control insights during client onboarding and contract negotiations.
• Maintain detailed records of all collection activities and support audit processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in credit control, preferably within travel, tourism or hospitality.
• Excellent command of English.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP/accounting systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of financial reporting tools.
