About the role

The Customer Care Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, managing the welcome desk and ensuring smooth check‑in and check‑out processes. This role combines front‑desk operations with patient service, billing support, and coordination with clinical staff.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, manage front‑desk operations, and ensure timely processing of appointments.
• Obtain pre‑patient registration details, demographic and insurance information, and answer phone calls.
• Collect co‑payments, handle daily cash receipts, and process billing inquiries.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and update files as needed.
• Verify patient information, process approvals, and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Promote services and upsell according to patient needs.
• Handle patient queries via phone or email and record all data with zero errors.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and patient care.
• Manage booking, scheduling, transfers to physicians, tele‑services, complaints, and surveys.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university.
• 0–2 years of experience in a medical centre, customer service, or related healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of patient registration, appointment scheduling, and health insurance is a plus.
• Excellent English communication, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work under strict deadlines and maintain professionalism.
