Customer Care Coordinator – Receptionist

About the role

The Customer Care Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, managing the front‑desk operations of a medical centre. You will ensure smooth check‑in and check‑out processes, handle appointments, payments, and provide courteous service throughout the patient journey.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients at the reception desk, answering phone calls and scheduling appointments.
• Collect pre‑patient registration, demographic, and insurance information.
• Process co‑payments, manage daily cash receipts, and handle cash/bank transactions with 100% accuracy.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and ensure timely data entry.
• Assist with approval processes, verify patient information, and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Promote services, upsell or cross‑sell according to patient needs, and encourage feedback.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and patient care.
• Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and survey collection.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university.
• 0‑2 years of experience in a medical centre, customer service, or related healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of patient registration, appointment scheduling, and health insurance is a plus.
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
