Customer Order Desk Specialist – Cairo

About the role

Signify is looking for a Customer Order Desk Specialist to join its Cairo team. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end order execution, ensuring accurate order processing, delivery proposals and exceptional customer service across a portfolio that supports more than €50 million in annual revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Check order availability, prepare delivery proposals and suggest alternatives when needed.
• Screen complex and special orders for technical and commercial correctness.
• Manage specials, combined shipments, missing items and dead‑on‑arrival situations.
• Monitor the digital sales order creation process and produce monthly reports on receipts, deliveries, sales and stock levels.
• Accept, validate and manage sales orders from entry through delivery and forwarding.
• Maintain and update customer master data.
• Respond to customer inquiries and complaints via multiple channels.
• Create manual orders for complex projects, including milestone deliveries and billing schedules.
• Analyze orders in SAP to identify discrepancies and propose feasible alternatives.
• Configure solutions that balance conflicting requirements and drive process improvements and automation.

Required profile

• University Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• 4+ years of professional experience in order execution, warehousing or transportation.
• Strong customer orientation and a speed‑and‑execution mindset.
• Ability to communicate with impact and build high‑performing teams.
