Customer Project Manager – Food Processing Solutions

About the role

TOMRA Food is seeking a Customer Project Manager to lead the delivery of advanced sorting and peeling solutions for its largest customers. You will own the project lifecycle from quotation through commissioning, ensuring seamless coordination between customers, internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage projects that include peeling, sorting equipment and peripherals from quotation stage to final commissioning.
• Support the sales team with accurate project costing and early risk identification.
• Develop equipment, process and product expertise to help customers select the right solution.
• Communicate customer design standards to the project design team and ensure they are met.
• Build and maintain relationships with third‑party vendors and assist in supplier negotiations.
• Control project budgets, manage change orders and ensure schedules are maintained.
• Liaise with operations, logistics and internal stakeholders to align projects with organisational goals.
• Conduct regular on‑site customer visits and provide hands‑on project management.
• Facilitate handover of completed projects to the Service Organisation.
• Adhere to health and safety responsibilities throughout the project.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex industrial projects from quotation to commissioning.
• Ability to work closely with customers, sales, engineering, operations and logistics teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Experience in the food processing or equipment sector is advantageous.
