Customer Project Manager

About the role

TOMRA Food is seeking a Customer Project Manager to lead the delivery of advanced sorting and processing solutions for its largest customers. You will act as the single point of contact from pre‑sale discussions through to final commissioning, ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage projects from quotation stage through on‑site installation and commissioning, guaranteeing end‑to‑end quality and customer satisfaction.
• Support the sales team with accurate cost estimations and risk identification during the quotation phase.
• Develop deep equipment, process, and product knowledge to assist customers in selecting the optimal solution.
• Communicate customer design standards to the project design team and ensure they are met.
• Maintain relationships with third‑party vendors and assist in equipment supplier negotiations.
• Control project budgets, handle change orders, and coordinate with operations and logistics to keep schedules on track.
• Align projects with organisational goals, conduct regular customer visits, and provide a hands‑on management approach.
• Facilitate a smooth handover to the Service Organisation at project completion.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑facing orientation with the ability to manage complex, multi‑stakeholder projects.
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams and external vendors.
• Ability to oversee budgets, schedules, and change‑order processes.
